"Our daughter attends the Infant class at The McCarthy School of Dance. We are highly impressed with the motivated, friendly teachers and assistants. The positive and encouraging approach taken by the dance school combined with the fun and age appropriate routines has really helped our daughter settle into the class. Thank you so much to everyone at The McCarthy School of Dance for your help in ensuring our daughter loves coming to dancing"

Assistant Teachers

Claire and Jenny are both fully qualified through the B.A.T.D (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) and hold current PVG certificates and Public Liability Insurance. They continue to further develop their teaching knowledge and skills by sitting more professional exams – both Claire and Jenny are qualified to the highest level in the BATD (F.B.A.T.D.) in several dance styles. They feel strongly that their team of assistant teachers should also be as qualified as they can be and continue to promote an environment where teachers are constantly learning and developing their teaching techniques and choreography skills. Continuing to sit teaching exams in a variety of dance styles is vitally important in ensuring knowledge of the syllabus is up to date and that pupils are always taught to the highest standard.

All of this results in your child attending a dance school where teachers are highly qualified, highly skilled and most importantly LOVE what they do!!

We are committed to providing training and experience for assistant teachers at the dance school and are fortunate to have a team of extremely dedicated and hard-working qualified teachers and class assistants who help us at classes every week. Your child will get to know them too!
